Welcome to the beautiful city of Edgewood!  Voted the #1 city of the state of Kentucky to live in and #17 in the nation in 2019.  Edgewood is a comfortable and cozy city to live in that’s a “walk in the park!”.  This is the city’s branding phrase given there are two large parks within the city limits- Presidents Park and Freedom Park.

Edgewood has a population of 8,500.  There are two hospitals within the city. St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, providing the best care for the residents of Edgewood and job opportunities.

There’s a total of 7 schools in the city of Edgewood including James A Caywood Elementary, R C Hinsdale Elementary School, Turkey Foot Middle School, and St. Pius elementary school.

You won’t have to travel too far to catch up on some rest and relaxation.  Summit Hills Country Club offers golf, tennis, a poolside bar, swimming and diving teams, and indoor and outdoor dining.  The pool café was a favorite of mine as a child! I never failed to convince my parents for a soft serve ice cream cone and french fries by the pool!
